This lecture mainly focused on the Expressjs framework and rest services which are mainly used for the back-end development of a web application.

What are Restful Services?

Rest services are used to develop web services that are lightweight, highly scalable and easy to maintain. Restful methods include get, post , delete and put(update). Inaddition to this options and head are also keywords.

How it works :

Best practices and HTTP verbs were also discussed.

Expressjs is a nodejs framework. It consists of numerous plugins which allows high performance, extensible and reusable. It is used by famous companies such as uber, paypal, IBM.
